Privacy Policy · Effective 3 September 2026

Your information stays yours.

This policy explains how BLOX handles information when you use the iOS app, visit this website, reserve BLOX VIP or contact support.

Information stored by the app

The current BLOX iOS app does not require an account. To provide blocking, scheduling and progress features, it may store the information you enter during onboarding, your selected apps or categories, modes, schedules, preferences, lock timestamps, session statistics and emergency-unblock count on your device. This information may also be stored in an Apple App Group so the BLOX app and its extensions can work together.

Screen Time and app selections

BLOX uses Apple’s Family Controls, Managed Settings and Device Activity frameworks to apply the restrictions you choose. Apple provides privacy-preserving identifiers for selected apps and categories. BLOX uses those selections to apply shields; it does not read the content inside other apps, your messages, passwords, photos or the content of pages you view.

NFC and notifications

BLOX processes a supported NFC tag scan to start or end a session. BLOX does not use NFC for payments. If you allow notifications, the app may schedule local notifications about your sessions. You can change notification permission in iOS Settings.

Information collected on this website

For a VIP reservation, we collect your name, phone number, email address, device platform, city, state and PIN code. Founding 100 beta applications may also include a delivery address. We collect a VIP member’s complete delivery address only if they later confirm an order.

How we use website information

We use information submitted on this website only to manage your reservation or beta participation, contact you about BLOX, invite you to the relevant community, provide support and coordinate an order you confirm. Your PIN code may be checked against public postal data to confirm that it matches the city and state you entered.

Service providers and sharing

We may use hosting, security, communications and delivery providers only as needed to operate BLOX. If you open WhatsApp support or join a WhatsApp community, WhatsApp processes your activity under its own terms and privacy policy. We may share delivery details with a courier only after you confirm an order. We do not sell, rent or trade personal information, and we do not use it for third-party advertising.

Security and spam prevention

We use temporary one-way hashed technical identifiers to limit automated or repeated form submissions and do not store the raw IP address for that protection. Hosting and security providers may process ordinary request information needed to deliver and protect the website. We use reasonable safeguards, but no online system can guarantee absolute security.

Retention, correction and deletion

App information stored locally can be removed by deleting BLOX from your device. Website and support information is kept only while reasonably needed to operate the VIP or beta program, provide support, coordinate a confirmed order, meet legal obligations and resolve related issues. You may ask to access, correct or delete information you submitted by contacting us through the BLOX Support page.

Updates

If this policy materially changes, we will update the effective date above. Where appropriate, new applicants will be asked to consent to the current version before submitting their details.
